Vapor roof foils

The vapor roof foils we marketed are high-quality secondary roofing produced from three-layer polypropylene of a weight of 120 and 150g/m2.

Tay son – steamproof and water-repellent film

USE

It is used in oblique roofs as a spare roofing to protect thermal insulation in order not to moisturise the insulation. The inside of the foil, which is wrapped in a roll, turns upwards towards the light (sun or rain).
If we want to achieve a perfect seal, the foil must be covered at least 10 cm and connect all contacts with a self-adhesive waterproof tape. The foil is installed independently through the rafters or on wooden panelling. It can also be used in all other ventilated and unventited structures.

PROPERTIES

Tay-son film is steamproof to the outside, but inwards watertight up to a water column height of 5 cm (ONORM B 3690) and is not suitable for higher loads (snow over 10 cm) and waterproofing works.
The upside of the film is resistance to microorganisms and UV radiation (6 months).

ADVANTAGES

Tay-son foil allows you to lay directly on thermal insulation. Tay-son foil has high tensile strength.
